* Game is short, I played it all night and just now finished it
* Travis Grady is the worst character ever, his story is distinguished mentally-challenged
* Emphasis on fighting, lots of melee stuff to pick up
* Difficult to land that finishing blow when an enemy is down
* There's like... 7 puzzles in the game
* QTEs when attacked by enemies, sometimes mash X, sometimes press the correct button when it appears
* Static filter sucks ass, makes it nigh-impossible to see
* Ending makes like... zero sense, though it opens into Silent Hill 1 with a quick 10 second clip
* Game looks great for PSP, obviously
* Akira Yamaoka music very underused
* Warping between dark and light worlds - BZZT, huge negative
No hope for 5 after playing this.
No, himu, I played it this year on PSP. It's quite playable!correct

I don't care too much about the cult stuff. I like the psychological take, and I like how every puzzle in SH2 ties in with the story's themes.
Puzzles are dumb. I would think Silent Hill games would serve better as adventure games. Sadly most adventure games fail at creating logical puzzles that one might actually encounter in an adventure, instead opting for bizzare shit.
When I hear a game has puzzles I just groan. Aside from escort missions there is nothing more of a buzzkill than a dumbass puzzle.

I'm interested to see what they do with the story in 0 but based on the impressions in this thread, not a whole lot it seems.
