Title: DW: Gundam - 50000 Shot Down

Finally. 34 hours later. Lol.

Im close to 100 Missions completed, and I was able to finish Heero's final mission on Hard, which means it will only get easier. All thats really left are completing each characters missions and the evil 100k Shot Down.

Im not sure how ill get 100,000. I can eek out 1300 per moseleum stage on hard, so if I am close after completing everyones campaign I may take it on!

the easiest way to grind for the 100,000, that i know of, is on official mode mission 1, using kamille with the quebly mk II. clear the initial fields, then dash down to the bottom left-hand corner of the map -- an infinite spawn of enemy mechs will appear shortly thereafter. from there, it's just a matter of destroying them until quattro gets killed, which takes about 20 minutes.

on average, the number you get per session will vacillate between about 2,500 and 3,000 kills. should only take you a few hours from 50,000, if you're serious about it.

Does this account for master asia or jerid not getting killed by being stupid? Thats really the reason I dont tend to try and milk one far away point. Also when you say infinite spawn, are you saying the point just reinforces? Cause thats fucking slow even in the center point where Musou Gundam is.

ZZ Gundam is the best gundam anyway. Quebly is nice for crowd control but ZZ Gundam with Hard Hit skill is devastating and his melee range be teh huge. Plus going by that logic, if it takes 20 minutes to wait for Zechs to show the fuck up in the corner, I still have to go all the way to Master Asia, kill Domon if he hasn't THEN kill Musou Gundam. Which makes the mission 25-30 minutes on Hard.

1300 is attainable with ZZ Gundam (thanks to jet mode) in about 15 minutes to mission complete. I think that's still the most efficient way to handle it. I still dont know why the bottom left corner would infinite spawn enemies since its one of the ones you easily capture within the first 5 minutes as Master Asia's suggestion and iirc doesnt even have a guardian gundam, or it may and its extremely easy. I just remember that point being barely a piss stop. I've only seen a mothership reinforced point drop fast enough to possibly milk.

Edit: Then again, the dirty way to carry out your way would be to quit early, but even then I question the bottom-left hand corner's ability to sustain me killing everyone. The MIDDLE cant do that and its the heaviest point on the map. The reason it took 34 hours to hit the first 50 was that I didnt have a maxed pilot/gundam with all the skills until 30 hours or so. Going by the rate I can earn them now, the 5 hours of grinding a non-descript southwestern corner of moseleum doesnt sound so hot :(

That being said ill give it a go tonight, but I am teh suspecting!
