Just started back on centrum yet again. Going to try and stick with it. Also take St Johns WORT and Valarien Root.
-
Dude, I almost labeled Scotch as one of my suppliments.
-
peanut butter. mmmm and apples. i eat those pretty much everyday. i don't take any vitamins or anything like that though.
wait, does xanax count?
-
I don't take any supplements right now. I do want to start taking a multi-vitamin and probably fish oil or flaxseed oil supplements.
-
Just multi-vitamins. You guys should be careful about herbal supplements. They can be as potent as drugs. The only difference is that herbs are not as highly regulated by the FDA.
-
St Johns is easy to build an immunity to, so no chance of addiction there. Valerian Root is very subtle so im not worried about that one either.
Fish Oil is supposedly good for you too. I look into these things quite a bit before taking them ;)
-
I just take One A Day. It's for cholesterol/heart stuff

I'm a Hansist when it comes to nutrition, so I guess take that for what it is. My daily supplements are:
1 raw egg yolk
1 overflow teaspoon Cod Liver Oil
I oz liquid vitamin supplement from Heaven Sent Balanced Essentials
2 pills Maximum Greens from GNC
1 shot glass apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
I think that's it for supplements. As far as Centrum, I'd highly recommend buying some Balanced Essentials online instead. It's probably cheaper and it's definitely a better and more efficient vitamin source. Also, a raw egg yolk has lots of great vitamins we don't get in our normal diet, great for your eyes. If you can stomach it, that's a good daily vitamin as well.

Centrum and DMAE. I take over the counter sleeping pills enough for them to be considered vitamins.

You still take melatonin sometimes? It doesn't work for me after awhile and I"ve to go off it for 2 weeks or so.

I really try to avoid that, but once every year or so I will just get into a really bad sleep pattern and I will have to start fucking around with that until I manage to normalize myself. In my experience, you get dependent on it for sleep really, really quickly. Even at recommended doses.

Had stopped for some months but just started them again.

valerian root and, uh, does an addiction to tylenol pm count?
-
ummm I eat a prozac pill everyday... thats about it. St Johns Wort is good, I heard fish oil capsules do the anti-depressant thing nicely too

EXTRA PROTEIN. Actually in nutrition class i determined that i suffered from a potassium deficency, so my heart could just stop at any given moment. To correct that i put a banana in my protein shakes. Homoepatic therapy is not regulated at all by the FDA nor are any suppliments; herbal or not. Might start using creatine once i reach an unsurmountable peak at the gym.

Protein is essential in every diet. It's the one source of nutrition our body can't synthesize from other materials. We can turn carbs into fat and vice versa, but we cannot turn stored fat or eaten fat or carbs into protein. I eat an obscene amount of protein in a given day, it's really made a difference in my body chemistry.

I take the generic version of One-A-Day Womens' multivitamin. :)
