Title: GameFly turn around time: 15 days and counting.
Post by: GilloD on November 13, 2007, 08:31:56 PM
I mailed out The Godfather 15 days ago. I got an e-mail 8 days ago that Ace Combat 6 was shipping. Still a no show. Viz's package from Alaska took less time. I contacted GF to see which distro center they'd be shipping from, they told me Pittsburgh, a 14 hour drive. How is this possible? I can't understand it unless the Postal Service is throttling Gamefly LOLZ.

Are there any other options out there? This is silly.

That sucks.  I was just thinking about signing up for Gamefly so that I wouldn't have to buy every damn game I want to play.  If it takes two weeks to get a game then screw it.

gill, do what i do and file a shipping complaint.  i've done that about 2-3 times already if the game didnt show up withing 3-4 days.  it works, and i get my game promptly.

I did that once already. The first game I shipped back didn't register for 10 days. I filed a complaint and it showed up about a day later. It all sounds like monkey buisness to me.

That said, I've paid 44 bucks to play 6 games, so. It could be worse.

A few months ago, it was really bad - like, waiting 10 days for turnaround when I live in San Diego and my processing center is in fucking Los Angeles! But it's gotten better recently. It really helps if you send your stuff back via a post office that does the "direct return" shit.

I wish there would be a online rental service with netflix speed. Only reason I have GF is for PS3/360 games.

On the upside, Ace Combat showed up and they shipped AC, so we're back on good terms. GameFly <3 xoxoxo
