If....

McDowell's first major role.  It's one of them there important 60sy movies with the sex and the angry young people and what not

A Clockwork Orange

What hasn't been said?  What haven't I said already?  I can talk about this movie forever!

O Lucky Man!

Don't look at me, I didn't pick the cover.

Caligula

This will be at least the 5th time I've watched this movie this year.

Time After Time

Well, the writing on the box gives it all away.  The shock here is that McDowell doesn't play Saucy Jack.

Cat People

Say, I didn't know this was a Paul Schrader movie.  Kind of makes sense.  Moody cult horror flick with a very memorable Giorgio Moroder score.

After Cat People, Malcolm McDowell was tragically autoerotically asphixiated while trying to recreate some cut scenes from Caligula.  Some unused footage from A Clockwork Orange was later used in Tank Girl. And an episode of Lexx.

I like the cover of O Lucky Man because it looks like he is about to Caligula someone.

You should do a Paul Schrader fest next.

You should do a Paul Schrader fest next.

That would kind of be a bummer.

BTW, I wish I had known how you feel about COM and the Departed.  Then I could have just given you my COD and you could give me the Departed.

Shit, that set makes me wish I hadn't gotten the first 2 movies on DVD in that bundle.  Oh well, at least if I double dip, I can rest knowing that I only paid 16 bucks total for the first 2 movies.

Double dipping is worth it for Bourne.  I got the first two during the crazy CC sale and the video quality is A+.  Audio also seems to be better than the DVDs.

I think I first saw it at like 2AM on basic cable, which was probably the perfect time slot for that movie.

Holy crap, TVC, you need to check this out too for academic purposes.  The combination of HD and 3D could change not only the adult industry but also the whole movie industry.
