. . .despite Clooney's charisma, I can't stop thinking of the awesome opening shot to A Clockwork Orange :(

Im gonna watch Barry Lyndon tomorrow, hopefully its good. I liked 2001 but havent seen any other Kubrick movies, Clockwork Orange I found to be completely unbearable, fake british accents are not meant to be taken seriously, and a film that forces you to take them seriously? ugh

Uh, I don't think there's like, a single non-Brit actor in ACO.

I only watched the first half hour because I had to get to bed.  Ocean's 11 looks pretty good.  It's not an OMG incredible transfer, but since it's a more modern movie it doesn't really matter.  They got the colors and the resolution right, but I wouldn't describe any aspect of the picture as something that "pops out."
