Definitely one of the best of 2007. Why are Pixar movies so much better than all of these other computer generated animation movies?
:bow
-
surf's up is actually pretty damn good. fuck you!
-
I'll try to watch both next week. In 1080P, the only way a movie should be watched at home.

It was? I didn't really pay attention to that one. lol
Even TMNT, which I thought was pretty good in theaters was pretty fucking forgettable. I forgot I had even watched it one week after release.
-
TMNT was distinguished mentally-challenged.

It's not worth a rental just for nostalgic purposes? :-\
-
I found TMNT decent when I saw it due to nostalgia but I have no interest in seeing it ever again.
-
I liked Over the Hedge. I also liked Meet the Robinsons.

I liked Over the Hedge. I also liked Meet the Robinsons.
Over the Hedge was pretty decent. I liked it more than the shrek flicks at least. Great voice cast.
I mean Bruce Willis, Garry Shandling, Steve Carrel, and William Shatner? Brilliant!
-
I disliked Ratouille. Maybe the anticipation of Brad Bird directing made me over expectant.
Wall E is going to be the shit :hyper

I finally got around to watching Ratatouille last weekend, it was fantastic.
I've heard that Surfs Up was actually watchable. It's done as a mockumentary, which I always enjoy.
-
Ratatouille was good, but I hated the voice of the dude who voiced Remy. His voice was so incredibly grating and annoying, I actually wanted the little rat dead by the end of the movie.
-
You know I don't think I've ever seen a computer animated film...
-
I saw it in the theatres and it's still my movie of the year.
Bought the Blu-ray this weekend and MY GOD what a transfer!
I was so so on HD movies, mainly due to the b.s. format war we have to go through, but all Blu-ray for me now on, with the exception of Universal/Paramount/Dreamworks movies of course. I'm on the fence, though. If the HD-DVD attachment were $150 I would bite.

Over the Hedge was pretty good. It slowed down A LOT mid way through though.

I'll buy the hell out of it in HD in whatever format, whenever they get around to releasing it.

You can pick it up on ebay for far less than that. A lot of people switched over when they ran that $99 HD-DVD special at Wal-Mart.
