Title: Being fingerprinted/photographed when traveling abroad: what do you guys think?
Post by: Ichirou on November 19, 2007, 02:59:38 AM: I'm going to have to go through this when I come back from holidays in the US to Japan...they just instituted the same system the US has for foreigners coming into the country - fingerprinting and photographing. How would you guys feel if you were forced to do that when traveling abroad? I'm vaguely repulsed by the idea.

But, as they are also going to use the data in a big registry to track foreigners living within the country and thus being made an automatic suspect in criminal cases, I think they should get fucked.
