Title: Who coined the term "graphics whore"?

i actually know this! it was some sega europe executive talking about ps1 fans, only he said 'graphics tarts' rather than 'graphics whores.'

I was using the term "graphics whore" back in '96 on Usenet, so it's not like it's a new term.  I'm just wondering the origins of it, since I have no idea where I got it from.  How did it evolve from "graphics tart" to "graphics whore"? Was there a publication that used the term? Or did it come from the 'net somewhere?
