Swiped from GAF:
flOw, Calling all Cars, Pixeljunk Racers, and Everyday Shooter are all $4.99 each until November 29.
Which of these is good?
-
Everyday Shooter. (i recall Drinky and drohne praising it, not sure though)
shame, i would have bought some but there are no PSN cards available yet >:(
-
all of them are great. awesome deal!
but if i had to choose one, i'd say flow.
-
I never tried flow, it looks boring as hell, though I guess I never gave it a try.
Calling all cars is fun in multiplayer. Casuals love it.
Don't know about pixeljunk.
Everyday shooter is good. Definately worth 4.99.
-
fl0w is the only PS3 game I've ever played.
You can beat it in like 20 minutes. Also fuck those guys for entering a contest on campus when they aren't students anymore.
-
I might just buy them all. $20 isn't a lot to pay for four games.
-
ES for $5 is a goddamned steal
I might check out flOw at that price
-
Just get Everyday Shooter
Why isnt Super Stardust on sale? Lame
-
I wouldn't play these games if they paid me. Fuck low budget games.
-
flOw - overrated , very pretty but so very light and pointless.
Calling all Cars - multiplayer it's pretty fun, worth it for parties.
Pixeljunk Racers - um, i know people who worked on this, but it doesn't stop it being poor :(
Everyday Shooter - one of the highlights of the year if you are an art-feg shooter fan. Great stuff IMO. One of the best games on PS3. A definite, nay, MANDATORY purchase for all PS3 owners.
I hate it when artsy fartsy people pretend to have more fun playing games like this than a $60 AAA title.

I had more fun with it than, like, Ratchet or Uncharted. Not Galaxy or Bioshock.
-
Patel, you have weird tastes!

Hmm, but it is better than a lot of $60 games. Not sure which "AAA title" you have in mind here though ;)
>90 on Gamerankings. AAA or GTFO
Seriously though, I don't care much for twitch gaming. It gets boring after awhile. Also, all these artsy shooters have shit graphics despite trying to be art.
-
Why do you care so much about graphics, Smoove B.?
-
'cause that's why I"m looking at. Duh! It's like asking why you care about a woman's looks.
-
I bought fl0w, Calling All Cars, and Everyday Shooter. Everyday Shooter is pretty cool and easy to get into, I can see myself playing that for a while. The others haven't finished downloading yet because the Playstation downloading Service is 50% suck for me. Either it blazes, or it crawls, with no in-between.
-
I really like Everyday Shooter. Compared to some of the stuff on XBLA that's priced as twice as much, it's certainly a steal at 5 bucks.
Everything else on that list pretty much sucks ass though.
-
Everyday Shooter and Calling all Cars are awesome.
Too bad Super Stardust HD isn't $4.99, cause it's OMG awesome.
-
I wanted Super Stardust HD at that price
I'm sick of all those online games that rip-off Robotron 2084's gameplay mechanics, but I got tempted by Everyday Shooter and am liking it so far
what's cool with PSN is that your purchases are done with genuine dollars, why can't this be the same with the other two networks? why use a point system where the currency is only available for purchase in bundles of points? this is such a fraud, if you only need 800 points, you need to pay more than what you really wanted, so you'll tend to make wasteful purchases to spend the points you're stuck with

Business.

Sony does their sneaky shit, too
Everything is priced at _.99, and you can only add increments to your "wallet" in whole dollars
there was .03 left in my "wallet" that can't ever be spent
that .03 x 100,000 users is $3000 in Sony's pocket, because no one can ever spend it

Yup. I fucking hate it.

Reminds me of that scam from the office space movie.
-
I like CAC, I got it for $5 a month ago.
-
um your credit card will get charged for the exact amount if you put it in your cart and then go to checkout, you don't go to "add funds to wallet".
I got flOw and Twisted Metal 2 and here is my invoice:
11/21/2007 19:19 Mail/Phone Order Approved 5945 $11.39
