Title: Is Whisper Singing the new Eddie Vedder singing?
Post by: etiolate on November 23, 2007, 03:21:41 AM: Snow Patrolitis is what I be talking of. Postal Service. Iron and Wine? Everyone is singing in whisper voices. What is the dealio? Everytime I'm recommended a band, I know there is a good chance the singer will be whispering lyrics all raspy like.

The minute we walked in, I told my friends, "They're gonna play Creed." The guy sounded just like Scott Stapp. Of course, that also means he sounds like Eddie Vedder pretty much. They played Evenflow at one point.

But just as we were leaving, they kicked into My Sacrifice. Perfect timing. :lol

I like that rendition though. Its Eddie Vedder trying to sound like Roger Daltrey so its good with me. Pure Eddie Vedder'ism is horrible though!
