Title: The Witcher rocks but I'm pretty sure the game named Leo is distinguished mentally-challenged
Post by: BlueTsunami on November 23, 2007, 11:10:16 PM
I just started playing it about an hour ago and they introduced Leo and the wide eyed, unnaturally positive reactions to even mundane tasks (like accompanying The Witcher) is a total distinguished mentally-challenged fellow response. He has crazy eyes too, like, when your able to see the whites of his eyes from the left, right and top. It freaks me the fuck out.

But other than that, I like the hit combo battle system though it sort of feels clunky (I honestly don't mind it though). I can see where some of the hate is coming from. Visually it looks good but the Cinematics and personality of each character is super cool and better than most Western cookie cutter offerings.

The opening Intro is badass too

The loading is funky. Theres even a longer than usual (for PC) loading like screen when you try to save!

And how about the above with an ATI Radeon 9600 video card?

It depends on the card...not too sure about the 9600 (I'm purely an NVidia dude, I don't have a point of reference for ATI cards). I would say a 6600GT and above would be the bare minimum (but thats not an educated guess).

It stutters on my own system but I think its mainly due to it being CPU limited (I own a 1.8GHz AMD64).

1GB of RAM may be doable
