Sera Shepard is a war hero, who always lived in space with her family, who has a military background. She is a space lesbian, who has a hankerin for Ashley, but alas, she only goes for guys. Shame.

I made a character and was all set to go when I realized how much better the default one looks.  I ended up using the same guy we've seen in all the Mass Effect media since day one.  Not creative at all but it just seemed right.

I'm with Hitler. The default one is the best. And I kind of have a mancrush on him.

PS all the female shepards look identical.

i tried to make one that looked like kurt russell but when that didn't work out, i just made one that most closely resembled a space pirate

My Shepard is a mannish Asian woman with red hair. (aka my ideal woman)

In her defense, all the female characters in ME are either mannish or Downsy.

character I beat the game with

she has a few scars and looks sad all the time. This makes sarcasm look hilarious when acted out

anyway I think I went with colonist and sole survivor

she has no lovers;

vanguard is a fun class but I'm going with a male character and a different class now that Ive unlocked hardcore mode.

I skipped nearly all the sidequests so it took me maybe 20 hours to beat

the character designs look awesome. you just have to be awesome to pull off a good looking main character
