Well, my interest in this new season just SKYROCKETED.

Oh god, they better have not delayed the christmas special. THERE IS NO 24 making Doctor Who my vital viewing experience this January.

The special is still Christmas.  No idea what that January date is.

A press release was just issued today as a matter of fact.

I guess I forgot that Europeans do that stupid reverse day/month thing....so 01/12/07 actually means December 1, 2007.  Which means OMG NEW WHO ON SATURDAY!

Nah, they say distinctly in the press release that it is Christmas.

I am thinking, now that Scifi and CBC is caught up, maybe that is the date they are showing it here?  The BBC site does the whole detecting what region you are in thing, and the lack of discussion on Who forums about the January date indicates that they are not seeing the January date.

I know it's Doctor Who and all, but I'm not sure if it's possible for them to air it 11 months in the past :)  If it were going to be on in January, the year would be "08".

It's not this  Saturday, Bloodwake.  Read the thread.  The BBC issued a press release today saying Christmas.

Trailer?  Preview?  New downloads?  New season info?  If Torchwood is starting in January, chances are Who will start right after it ends, in March or April.

I don't know why the network would even want to blow all that original programming on a day when a lot of people will probably be out doing stuff with family.  I guess things are different in the UK, maybe..
