Post by: Smooth Groove on December 01, 2007, 04:39:49 AM: yeah, Underworld 1 and 2 are really good transfers. Black colors in the BDs are so much deeper than the ones in the dvd. Both discs have also been on sale many times. That sucks if you had to pay full price for it.

Both movies are $5 cheaper at Fry's. Depending on how anal the BB employee is, there might be a check to see if Fry's have them in stock.

(they're a sore sight better than, say, die hard 2 or 4.) i still can't fathom why they drew so much critical ire; maybe reviewers simply got tired of vampires, or got their pretentions on because the underworld movies play it straight instead of constantly winking and going "lol we secretly know we're genre trash mister smarty reviewer tee hee lol lol oh u"
