Eh, I just dont like heavy metal. It's just noise and screaming to me. I am more of a alt/indie rock guy. The "hardest" rock I like is stuff like Rolling Stones.

I dont get why so many people dislike Blaze, that era had its unique style and brought forth some excellent songs like Sign of the Cross, The Clansman and Como Estais Amigos. Check them out I say.

btw do you still listen to them once in a while or is it just strictly a nostalgia thing?

Are you even aware that Maiden is losing some of its original fanbase because they are moving away from their roots lately? God, dont be so dumb. Their latest album AMOLAD is a completely progressive (the metalgenre) album and they played it in its entirity on their last world tour. They are not trying to be some walking museum like Metallica and they keep getting new fans.
