Yes, it's worth watching once.  There're some interesting ideas but I wish there were more action.  What little action there was in the movie was very well made.  There just wasn't quite enough of it.

I watched it on the flight to Tokyo, it was alright. Better than everything else I watched on the plane, though.

I saw it after the hype so it was crap.  the story was really mediocre.  like just suddenly thrown together.  and the ending didn't really bring anything together.  if they made it in a sin city type of style (completely parts of the story so you can start to understand the types of characters) then it would have probably been a lot better but I'm not sure they could do that with the movie.

I haven't seen this movie or read the comic, but it never struck me as an "action flick" in the first place.

The ending was great, amnintenho.  Everything was tied up nicely.

I haven't seen this movie or read the comic, but it never struck me as an "action flick" in the first place.

The studio marketed it as an actioner though.  For example, the ads kept mentioning that V was made by the same people that made the Matrix.  I just wished there were more emphasis on action because they did a good job with it.

Fun to watch once, not worth owning, IMO.

Also, I co-sign the statement that am nintenho is distinguished mentally-challenged.

I just watched this on Joox.net the other day, and although I wouldn't recommend anyone spend money to see the movie, it's worth a watch.  Overall it was a pretty entertaining and neat film, but not worth >3 dollars to rent it.  Just watch it on joox or something.

It had cool quotes though. Mostly because when i read the quotes, i imagine Agent smith saying it. For everyone. Especially Natalie Portman's character.

i say meh again.

and to be honest, i went in knowing i wouldn't like it probably.  but i gave it a shot.  i can see why some people liked it.  the style and atmosphere was neat.  i just didn't care for the movie.

something about the set design/atmosphere made it seem like it was a straight-to-video somehow.  I didn't like it so much.  The ending sequence was the best part of the whole film I thought.

It's worth watching for Hugo Weaving's performance.  The man is a top notch actor and a joy to watch in anything he's in.  I thought it was pretty good overall, but suffers from some poor direction choices and plot spoonfeeding (lol flashbacks).

I loved it when it first came out, I'll have to re-watch again and see if time has made my heart grow fonder.  :-*

Edit: Or I could just go watch teh 1337 No Country For Old Men again.

Pretty enjoyable. Snappy script, nice production values, and the bad guys get what's coming to them. I'm a bit of a sucker for 1984-style dystopias, and it played on that nicely. Not sure if I'd watch it again, though. It's weird hearing Weaving work the posh accent, especially since the last thing I saw him in was The Interview.

A few of the scenes will have you jumping out of your seat, but everything in between is "meh".

Comic book was better. They did okay I guess but it still got kind of wonky.

Definitely the type of thing that never should've been considered for film, just not translatable. Same with Watchmen.
