Got the demo for 360. This is the first Tomb Raider game I've ever liked wtf. How is Anniversary? I may fight the power and support Eidos! The biggest problem with the game is the meh shooting, but maybe they fixed that in Anniversary?
Fuuccccck! If we got an Indiana Jones game like this I would jizz in one million cups.

Anniversary is great, Legend is umm, better than that Dark Angel or whatevr one haha.
-
Legend > Anniversary
I got 1000 on both :rock
(Legend has since changed to 1250 because of the Anniversary DLC)
-
haha, ask TVC too, demi is suspect
-
WHY CAN'T THEY HAVE GOOD GRAPHICS?
-
The graphics look last gen wtf
-
I like Legend a lot. I really love the platforming, and I really LOVE what they did to the Lara character. Complete reboot. And it has really beautiful graphics too, and no framerate problems if you play in SD.
Anniversary is kind of a different beast in that it's just undiluted Tomb Raider platforming in its purest form with little narrative stuff kind of glued onto it.
They're both fuck awesome.
-
excuse me I mean **** raider
-
I guess Tomb Raider Anniversary doesn't have a 360 demo
-
It's on PC (demo), PS2, and X360 - take your pick
Legend > Anniversary anyway so you aren't missing out
The ending to Legend is one of the top endings I've ever seen in the last few years

They ARE last-gen. The lead platform was the PS2. I played through Legends on 360 and also ended up getting the PSP version (it has some extra stuff)-- good port and you can fix the frame rate issues by playing in 333mhz. IIRC the PC version did get some next-gen touches that did not carry over to the 360 port.
Haven't played much of Anniversary though, which I got on PSP. I heard the 360 port has frame rate issues not in the other versions and is missing some visuals effects. I like Legend more than I what I've played of Anniversary so far.

I like the variety of locations, I guess. But mind you I haven't played much of Anniversary yet; just started it over the weekend in fact.
That Nepal level at the end of Legend was such a let down...SOOOO short. :-\

Legend is fun from what I've played of it. I'm still in the beginning though (RIGHT after where the demo ends). It's definitely a very decent platformer.

Yeah the motorcycle sections sucked, especially the one where you're trying to beat the train, but the King Arthur makes up for the stinkiness.
I like Legend about as much as I liked Anniversary. They're the only two Tomb Raider games that are worth a damn.
