It was called a donut, but it was really just curry and cheese inside some dough that was then fried

I had a curry donut at Voodoo Donuts in Portland, OR once. They also have a maple donut with a strip of bacon on top.

It's not, really.  The name donut is a misnomer.  It's basically bread with curry and cheese stuffed inside.  No different from, say, a calzone.

Cheese and curry anything is awesome. i made cheese and curry potatoes a couple weeks back. i didn't know it was an official food combo. i need cheese and curry donuts in my life.
