I love the printed page and I shudder at the thought of magazines dying off. As a videogame nerd growing up I read Nintendo Power, GameFan, EGM, and Gamepro. For my other hobbies I read SI, Vibe, and EW.
These are the current magazines I regularly read
I'm big into cooking and entertaining so I read the following magazines for inspiration and general cooking tips
Gourmet
Saveur
Food and Wine
For in-depth news and fiction:
Harper's
For personal finance and investing tips
Money Magazine
I'm also a design junky and I pick up these magazines from time to time, but at not a regular basis.
Dwell
Juxtapoz
While I get most of my gaming news online, I sometimes pick up Edge or EGM. Edge is a beautiful and well written magazine, but it's expensive so I only pick it up occasionally. EGM has some great great exclusive content from time to time as well.
What are you favs?

I cant afford magazine subscriptions, but I would love a subscription to Wired and Economist.

Just a free subscription to EGM and GFW. I wish I could find a free Wired subscription again, I had one once.
-
Wired is only 10 bucks a year. I think I'm gonna grab a subscription, even with Kolher in there.
My grandpa bought me a subscription to Popular Science a few months ago. He likes doing stuff like that.

Yeah, I know what you mean. There's a lot of amateurish stuff out there on the net. Slate and Salon have remained pretty high quality since their inception, though.

I like to read them on the shitter.
-
how long do you take a shit? i read maybe one page and i'm done

I read them over the course of the entire month.
And I take long. Shitting is the one activity that gives me peace. Well, showering too.

Part of the reason I like mags is the physical format, which lend themselves to using high quality paper, high resolution photography, and kick ass art direction.

If you are out you arent going to sit on a toliet in a stall for hours on end,why do it at home? I rather read in bed or something more relaxing
-
I got Cosmopolitan for a long time. :)
When I was in junior high and high school I subscribed to Seventeen. I subscribed to YM when I was a younger teen, too. I remember cleaning out my room with my best friend as a high school senior and throwing away piles of issues. There were so. many. magazines.

Canadian collage graduates. Magazines here cost like five times US prices :maf
-
Uhh... The Atlantic, The New Yorker, Time Out NY, Cooks Illustrated, The Economist... a bunch of free game mags (EGM, GFW, etc)... used to sub to a bunch of design mags/catalogs but I'm not doing design work anymore so my interest fell-off. Oh, used to have a TNR sub too, but found it generally not worth it.

Scientific American
EGM

YOU ARE PUTTING FOOD ON CHRIS KOHLER'S TABLE SHAME ON YOU
(really he could stand to skip some mealz lol fat lolololololol)
-
Im not subscribed to Wired but sometimes the stories on the front get me to buy it
-
AFAIK Wired and Wired.com are two separate entities, or at least they were when I did some work for .com and my GF at the time was a writer for the mag.
-
I bought a newsstand copy of Wired a while ago and there was a page written by Kolher.
-
I never subscribe to magazines really. I get two magazines though but they are free. I get EGM cause of those free gaf things.
And I get the celebrity gossip weekly rag, US Weekly free. I don't have a clue how. I never signed up for anything but it started coming like 2 years ago and keeps coming.

He might not be on the Wired Mag staff tho. As I said I'm not sure, just relating my experience from a couple of years ago.

He's their Designated Videogame Guy. Which is funny, because for a magazine that's all about pushing technology to the next level you'd think they wouldn't want to necessarily go with a guy that basically lives in Miyamoto's colon.
-
Free EGM subscription, that's it. Used to have subscriptions to Nintendo Power from 1989-1996 (my last issue was ironically enough the last issue where they had the "Epic Center" section, the best section in the mag), and Game Informer for a few years in the mid 90's.
-
Men's Health :bow
GQ
Popular Science

I think hip, pop-culture technogeekery is more concerned with novelty than raw specs, but it would be nice to see some non-enthusiast press who aren't stuck in the 80s.
