If you look past the fancy filter effects, DiRT really doesn't look great at all. The cars are seriously low-poly. I can see how many people prefer this TYPE of racer to Forza, but I would rank DiRT pretty low down the scale of non-sim racers while Forza is near the top of sim racers IM(not so)HO.

This is an absolute travesty, the franchise mode would eventually freeze your game. It took EA months to acknowledge the error, the patch just came out in the past couple of weeks (atleast on the 360, last I checked PS3 still didn't get it). The prestentation is still majorly lacking, despite EA having both the NFL and ESPN licensing. At least in my opinion, they still haven't got the gameplay right in the next gen.

They could have given it to just about ANY other sports game this year, and it would still be a better decsion than Madden 08.
