Title: PSN: Where the hell is everyone
Post by: Sho Nuff on December 11, 2007, 11:40:36 AM
Because I plowed through my X360 Xmas lineup like a fat man through cake, I thought I would give the PS3 some loving now that I got the color calibration right and HDMI looks butter smooth. I fired me up some Tekken DR Online, because I enjoy playing games that have better image quality than Tekken 6  :-\ :-\ :-\ plus talking shit while I get beaten up is always fun, just like I would always tell my sensei "I AM JUST DOING THIS TO MAKE YOU MORE CONFIDENT HAHAHAH" back when he was kicking my ass in junior high.

Anyway, long story short, I sat in a room for about 1 hour waiting for somebody to join me while watching an episode of Alias on my PSP. Some dude joined 45 minutes in but then disconnected immediately. WTF?

BTW playing on Japanese PS3 with Japanese copy of Tekken, playing during peak evening hours

Same problem here, and same problem with VF5 and Fatal Fury Special on 360.  Pretty much the only online fighters I've never had to sit and wait in have been DOA Ultimate and DOA4.

I haven't played TK5 DR Online in months.  I'm up for some if you are...TK6 has me playing TK5 DR again, but mainly on PSP.  Plus the lack of BOB sucks.

i've got a couple games for my ps3, but all of them are single player only

why would i play multiplayer games on the ps3 when everybody plays their superior versions on the 360
