Title: No Culdacept Saga thread?

I have no idea how long this demo's been up.  I was mildly interested in the PS2 game, but not enough to seek it out.  It came out when I was poor, and well, not board gamey.

The demo seemed pretty sweet.  My one complaint is that the battles take a bit too long what with the scene transitions and crap.  I hope there are options to speed this up in multiplayer.  As far as games taking too long, maybe there will be settings to allow you to play with lower magic goal limits. 

My demo game took about an hour, and I had no idea what I was doing.  I have no idea how complicated real games get either.  Anyway, Prole and MAF, I know you guys have card game sweet tooths, this one is pretty good.

i fuck pwned the demo, but i was good at culdcept ps2. i can answer your questions! the game is monopoly with card battles.

the demo doesnt do a good job getting you acquainted, it's like "HERE" and shoves you in and you're frantically swimming like WTF DO THESE NUMBERS AND LETTERS MEAN AGH DID I JUST DO SOMETHING GOOD and then suddenly you're kicking and getting a rhythm and you kinda get a feel and you're like "Yeah, I think I got it" then you realise that this was only the tutorial and the game will probably pick you right up and shove its dick in your butt and make you yelp at whatever else they toss your way

but it's a pretty cool game. battles take forever. sheesh. i think the achievements are way out there too.

culdcept ps2 got assraping hard and random roundabout the fourth map in the campaign. this is a game better played with people, not a cheating-ass computer.
