I found the idea of Judd Apatow writing and producing a adam sandler starring movie interesting but jesus christ the trailer is HORRIBLE. How is this a script by Apatow? HOW?

yea that looked pretty dumb.  I'm sure that Adam Sandler mauled the script.

Alex Payne was behind Chuck and Larry, so maybe there's a new trend of great directors taking a check and telling film nerds to go fuck themselves

Sandler's movies have basically become a platform for showing the audience over and over what a super-great guy the Sandler character is.

While sandler still pussified his role in Little Nicky, I at least kind of respected the film for having some balls, in that it was so ridiculously stupid, and not another Big Daddy or Wedding Singer.

They thought it was funny until like the party scene with fairies and cheeseburgers running around.  Then they told me this is too gay and walked out.
