Too bad my TV doesn't get sci fi >:(
I connected it to the Comcast cable outlet, as I did with my older (13in) TV. The 13in one got all channels. But this Sony Wega gets channels 2-28, and 65-95 or so. So I don't have TNT, AMC, Sci Fi, USA, FX, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Spike, etc. Luckily I get ESPN though.
I'm going to hook the TV up in another room with a cable outlet and see if it'll get more channels

I have iTunes, but only because I downloaded QuickTime (so I could watch trailers). But even QuickTime is fucking with me. I can't watch an entire trailer without it freezing for like 5 seconds every now and then >:(

OMFG wtf did i just watch? I've never seen anything like that in my life on TV ever. That was the best hour of tv i've seen in my life. I was screaming and hooting at my tv while watching. Especially when Gallatica jumped in that was the most awesomist stratagey ever. Balls but fucking hell was it awesome.
There are still 3 Battlestars uncalled for. Sure Pegasus was the newest and most technilogicaly up to date BS's but something tells me we'll soon see another maybe not this season but next. We still havent gotten the full story on the 11 other colonies either. Lots of avenues to persue.
And was it just me or is Baltar coming off really preachy? If so can he still be a cylon? AKA Cylon God
I question where Chimera is, that is the sister ship to Pegasus

Seriously, that entire episode was greatness. There was sooo much there. How about the moment between Zarek and Roslin? Is Zarek going to become a "good guy" now?
and it looks like we've got what so many were clamoring for: Base-star bound Baltar.
Or that last scene on the hangar deck, with everyone's little moment. Tigh's dejection, Gaeta looking awkward, the crew chanting Adama, Starbuck trying to cope with the mindfuck.....so much in that one scene.

Hey guys, this show looks like StarGate to me. Is it more of a mixture of StarGate and Star Wars, or a mixture of StarGate and Star Trek? ???

It's pretty much nothing like any of those shows. There's really nothing to compare it to, in terms of televised science fiction. And it's nothing like Star Wars. It's more in the vein of some original HBO show.
I'd say it shares more similarities with Babylon 5 in terms of political intrigue, but it's so far and away from that show it's not funny. And I hate Babylon 5.

It's not like stargate or star tek at all. It's like terrorism in space. Cylons came, nuked their home and the last remaining humans are on the run. It's very "realistic" and gritty. They smoke, drink, swear, and have LOTS of cable style sex(mounting, bare butts, and moaning :-*). All the phones are cordered and the like as well. They use nukes and bullets, not lol lazers.
If you hate stargate and star trek you'd likely like BSG. Not to bash those shows of course.
Oh and NO aliens.

The show looks like it's going to take a dark turn next week, which is kind of odd, considering I didn't think this show could get any darker. I wonder if Gaeta will make it past this season.

There was the mini-series then season 1, 2, and now 3.
Ironically its about to hit a good starting point. New Caprica arc is over and everything is back to "normal".

I don't think so. It looks like the crew is going to deal with the decisions to settle on New Caprica forever. I don't think Col. Tigh will ever be the same, and I don't know if Gaeta will make it out of this season. This entire season looks like it's going to get really dark, and I'm willing to bet the only beacon of hope is going to come from Cylon story arcs.

Jesus christ thats so fucking awesome. That was so fracking cool. Make a gif of that whole scene it was so fucking awesome.
As for the series i do think its becming darker to contrast what we've seen in the show. I like how they are leaving in greek mythology in the show. I've always loved that stuff. Baltar being on a basestar is gonna just creep me out. But that dude is as far removed from reality as anyone so maybe thats a good thing.
They wraped up New Caprica story in less than 5 episodes which is impressive. Cause i thought it would have taken 6 or more like originally was planed. But fuck that we got the best episode of the series if not all tv on its 3rd week.
Anyways spoilers and rumors are running around about some awesome things to come.

I just watched a repeat of the episode because I missed it on Friday.
HOLY FRACKING CRAP
Massive battlestars vs baseships battle, Galactica doing that balls-out freefall and then jumping the frack out of there, STARBUCK, Tigh poisoning his wife, the scene on the planet with Baltar, the cylons and the baby, and I teared up when Adama was being exulted, but Tigh just hobbled away.
Pretty much as good as television gets.
