I hope this makes up for my perceived lack of HD-DVD appreciation in other threads.

The only reason I have any HD disk player right now it because of the SONY trojan horse.

I havent bought a stand-alone movie player in years. I have used consoles only XBOX/PS2 for DVD's and only ever had stand-alone VHS players/laserdisk players.

I got the HD-A3 Toshiba player for $199.99 last week and I'm loving it. Amazon let me choose 5 HD-DVDs from that page so I got 12 overall (7 now, 5 later), but this week it's only 3. You would still be getting 10 free HD-DVDs overall (5 now, 5 later).

He claims it takes forever to start up and to access a disk, etc....

Id at least go for the $199 tier.

For me - the color of the add on isnt the problem - its the logistics of "where does it fit in my entertainment center"

I really would still just love to see an HDDVD drive based X360.
