They do, and they actually have barbs on them so mating is painful for the females. Glad I'm not a cat!

I was once on a youth group trip up to the Adirondacks and there was this dog tearing up some pussy (LOL GET IT?) then the dog looked away for a second and the cat ran off with the dog on it's heels.  It was pretty awesome.

when our latest cat got into heat she got relief from our dog and I guess I don't blame her.
