I had to use a steak knife or something to get through the 360 packaging. it was pretty scary.

Get yourself a pair of kitchen shears. They're designed to cut through bone. They'll slice through that plastic like butter.

Yep. As much as it drives my wife insane, I always use our Henckel kitchen shears to open up those things.

I actually tried shears and they got stuck on the 360 casing...
They worked fine on other consoles/electronics from what I remember.

The 360 bundles last year at BB came in a huge plastic space devil package with games and extra controller.
