I thought it was good, too. Yeah, compared to the Coens' other stuff it falls short, but compared to most other directors who've made a comedy....

yeah I actually went into it not knowing it was a coen brothers film but even then, it has a really unique charm.  you have to fail at life not to find it funny.

lol, I should stop being such a cunt. I hated it but thats just my opinion. A lot of people feel the same way as me about this film

I was actually pretty lukewarm on it the first time I watched it because I expected a normal (read: crap) tom hanks film but when I watched it again, it's obvious there was no way he did this kind of movie for money.  the acting and writing was actually kind of interesting in seeing how they wanted to pull of the concept.  I really liked the style the film had too.

then again it wasn't anything to rave about.  I'm torn now.
