Persona 3
FFXII
BOF 4: Dragon's Quarter
Psychonauts
Assassin's Creed
Portal
Mass Effect
Uncharted
Zack and Wiki
Metroid Prime 3
Dracula X: Chronicles

Along with next year's release calendar, I highly doubt I will finish my backlog.

My backlog is probably around 50+ games. I don't want to think about it anymore than that.

Well, we all buy games that we don't finish.  I'm talking about games that you know you are going to finish, and games that you want to finish.

I've got at least 25 Japanese PS2 games I need to get through, and then 20 or so North American games. I've also got a ton of Xbox games I still need to beat. And, that's not counting all the Gamecube shit I've never touched.

I'm doing pretty good on beating all my PS3 games right away, though.

Even the crappy ones?  Life is too short to spend on mediocre games.

I can rock a single play thru.

I only finish and keeps games I think are worthy of my permanent collection for one reason or another.

Easy to flood that segment of the market.

Excluding the stack of shit I've collected over the years and gave up ever finishing earlier this year, just Kameo. I've been good about completing every game I've bought in the last 5 months or so.

Oh, and I guess Revenant Wings and Front Mission.

Ha!  Amateur.

...

 :(

My backlog stretches back to the 16-bit era.  But most of my humongous backlog is all back home in the States.  I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I'm never going to play all this stuff and it's time to sell all this shit off.

Mine stretches back to the 8-bit era... I still haven't beaten Dragon Warrior II, Battle of Olympus, StarTropics 2, or Guardian Legend yet!

Like I said in the recent GAF thread - nothing. I never have a backlog. I buy a game, finish with it, move on, buy my next one. I dont get why some people horde 50+ games. Do you people also have bomb shelters under your houses and rations of food for the next 10 years, "just in case"?

Well for me, it's just that I'll buy something and either never touch it or play a chunk of it, and then it sits on the shelf.  And I like the game enough to keep it instead of sell it off...

I buy a game cause I LOVE buying games. I play games here and there, but there's really nothing wrong with wanting to eat at the buffet instead of the red lobster. F off dirty poors!

i don't keep track of a backlog... at all.

i used to and it was up to like 70 games before I realized, "fuck it.  i'll probably never finish it anyways"

I hardly finish any games and usually just play them enough to feel satisfied with the experience.

I like how people have these dumb rules so they don't do what they really wanna do, which is buy lots of shit

pretty much.

the fact is, most games are repititious as hell.  With most games, you can play the first few hours and see pretty much everything the game has to offer.  Unless I am REALLY driven to finish it, I stop caring and I don't feel bad.  I got my enjoyment, isn't that what matters.

Hell, what's better than the feeling of popping in a new game?  Nothing!  Let's not kid ourselves.  That's what we all really like to do.  I don't have to justify my purchases to anyone.

I buy tons of shit. Gaming is a low priority. So I dont waste money on a bunch of games Ill never play. Boo hoo.
