I hated WoW at first too, this means ill like will smith movies someday noooooooooooo
-
how is rock band! :hyper
-
good, got to seattle then played a bunch of the bonus tour, I fear the difficulty change between medium and hard. Guitar Hero did a better job having a scale within a tier, but this is still fun. If I wanna challenge I can always cry at the metallica songs
-
We had a drunk girl rock band party at my house tonight which was fun as hell. It's the only time I play the game, really.
With a good upscaling DVD player I don't have a problem watching normal DVDs but maybe that's because I watch a lot of them and rarely rent/buy HD-DVDs.
-
HD is a fad. It'll die before the Wii
-
I like my movies grainy and with that cozy old filter effect like how movies on tv look like, thank you
-
oooh are you watching the dvds I gave you
-
I can shift back and forth just fine
-
I love me some HD DVD. With that said, for the most part, the HD/BRD catalogues suck dick right now. So until they have the variety and bredth of the DVD library, then regular old DVD will always have a place in my rotation alongside my HD DVDs.
-
I wish I were in the 70s.

I wish I were in the 70s.
So you could fight in nam? :-\

Yep. I'm with you MAF. I agree with Solo, though. I really wanted to take advantage of the Amazon Bluray BOGO sale, but none of the films appealed to me. Though I only own a bluray player, (read: PS3) the HD-DVD catalog is much more compelling at the moment.
-
There aren't and HD kung-fu movies except for Enter the Dragon. DVD ftw.
-
scenester: not going home for christmas, so I will then! I gotta use my ps3 to get past region stuff :)
For reference, I was watching Big Lebowski last night and the transfer just looked kinda buh. Either its the DVD or PS3 upscaling STILL sucks

You don't know what you are talking about. I have BASIC INSTINCT 2 ON BLU RAY. DVD SUCX

Weird that a few months ago MAF was still certain that DVDs were "fine"... hmmmm, who was right in the end?
-
I don't have an HDTV so I obviously don't care
yet
(although I haven't bought 2001 and will not be buying Blade Runner: The Final Cut on DVD)
-
Mondain: TVC was right, not you
-
he sang the same tune only yesterday, too
bububu DVDs are fine, investing in HD movies is dangerous :lol
-
Watching non-HD movies makes me feel like it's 2005 again!
-
I'm watching Dog Day Afternoon in HD right now, and I bet it's a better picture quality than they saw in theaters back in 1975.
-
MAF, I told you that upscaling is not the same as True HDTM. I've got to warn you that this is an expensive road you're going down. I already have about 55 HD/BD. With sales, I estimate that each disc costs about $20 which brings the total to 1100 bucks before tax. Wallet am cry.
-
MAF will buy I Am Legend on BRD!
-
Dont tell me how to shop!
-
Don't say I never warned you when you're eating Cheetos for weeks!
-
I dont eat! entertainment before food! lulz
-
Oh fuk, I think you started a new fad. The Blu-ray diet!
Watch True HD and lose weight fast!
-
Those BOGO sales are killing me
I bought so much, so much. I bought the two Underworld movies based on MAF's ravings alone.
I actually hope they don't have any more BOGO this year, because I have no self-control
