At least the nurse was hot. If she moved her hand a little lower she would have given me another panic attack!

Serious topic? I've fucked my body up so much with unwarranted stress, sleep deprivation, and bouts of unhealthy eating that I know a heart attack is in my future. Sometimes I can just stand up and notice my heart is beating extremely fast - signs of being out of shape perhaps, but I'm actually in shape. I can lay in bed for 5 hours stressing over random shit, my heart pumping as if in anticipation of imminent doom. But nothing ever happens, and everyday is the same

It's probably not a sign of a bad heart; just bad stress and anxiety. It's empty advice, but make sure you get plenty of sleep. Without enough sleep your body won't be able to handle the cumulative stress.

I studied until 7, woke up at 9. At least today is the final day

Yeah I remember those nights. Only I never went to sleep. I can't believe that I procrastinated so much in university. We never learn!

I actually take homeopathic stress pills, st johns and valerian root to keep my panic/anxiety whatever they are under control. Its helped quite a lot but im in this weird state of drowsieness most of the time now. Not fatigue tho..just kinda detached. I've never been sure what exactly triggers the attacks, as they are pretty new. I suspected alcohol, which is known to raise heart rate, was part of the reason so ive pulled back on that considerably as well.

I'm glad they work for you. But the natural remedies--like St Johns--have never worked for me. Oddly I haven't been very anxious of late. In fact I haven't had an anxiety attack for some time. So the panic attack came as a shock. Especially without a usual trigger (a social situation).

I deal with this exact condition by not interacting with society. Other than buying groceries and dog food, I don't go out in Wilmington. I know my sister and the people at the Vet's office and that's it.
