There was a barely upright manchild in front of me in the line at Best Buy who was buying it.

Just to avoid the hypocrite claims for getting the Harry Potter Blueray Box:

I went to three places to find even THIS version, at the first store I comforted my bruised shopping self with:

I was hoping that this would be about Stardust or Once.

FYI, Once is $16.99 at Target.......Stardust appears to be $20 everywhere though.

Stardust is fucking fantastic. One of the better fantasy movies in years. It's a Princess Bridey light-fantasy. Its more of the 80's style (young guy gets trapped in a magical land...thats full of celebrities!) than the LOTR-ripoff stuff going on these days.

Once is $16.99? I'm all over that. Too bad Fox didn't release it on Blu-ray.

MAF: Once is brilliant. That's all you need to know.

That shouldn't matter. I have an HDTV, I'd like to use it's full capabilities as much as possible.

well, yeah. if it were on Blu-ray, I'd buy it on Blu-ray. But I doubt it would look or sound any better over DVD.

This an amazing re-release. I was impressed with the cleaned up release earlier this year on DVD, but the blugay blows me away.

Haven't you heard? DVDs are fine! Investing a few dollars in an HD format like HD-DVD or Blu-Ray is dangerous and foolish!!!!!

I rented Halloween today. Man, what a turd, I just had to shake my head at it's awfulness. GTFO of my movie theater, Rob Zombie.

I also rented Once. It was a lot better.

I gotta give it a chance.  I like House of 100 Corpses and especially The Devil's Rejects.  Looking backwards, a significant portion of people seem to think that the first half of Halloween isn't so bad.  No matter the quality, I am sure it is an interesting trainwreck.  If Zombie's not one thing, it's predictable.

Oh, fuck! What's the chance of someone getting sued for downloading that?
