Title: Where's my replacement screen?
Post by: GilloD on December 20, 2007, 11:27:27 PM
3 weeks ago I ordered a replacement screen for my DS. 2 weeks ago they sent me a shipping notice. Today, I have no screen. I have no way to play the copy of Etrian Odyssey I bought a week after I ordered the screen. This is terrible. I'm playing Harvest Moon: Rune Factory with no data on my supply stocks, time of day or calendar. Ugh.

How much are replacement screens and how do you install them?

Installation is a breeze. All you need is a small jewler's screwdriver, like the ones that come in those eyeglass repair kits. If you can screw in a lightbulb, you can probably install a new screen. I hear Nintendo charges 40$ and most reputable online dealers charge between 30 and 40 bucks, but the Ebay rate is between 15 and 25.
