Everything Team Ninja has shown for NG2 has been disappointing.  Hopefully it'll blow me away because of my now low expectations.

NG1 was a fluke I bet. Probably the reason they've released 3 versions of the same game in less than 5 years.

Watching the 1up show preview confirmed that the series is still lagging in the story dept.  It looks like they borrowed a page from the Kojima school of over the top cut scenes.  The dialogue also appears as it was written by a 9 year old, honing his fan fiction writing skills.

Dante flies on rockets and eats pizza in DMC3, I don't think they really concerned themselves with it when the gameplay licks your balls and shaft so good

I'm not even sure if DMC4 will even have the same structure as DMC3. God I loved how in DMC3 you could do whatever chapter in whatever order after you completed it.
