jesus -- at first it's kinda cool, but then you realize that HE'S NOT CHEATING THE VISUAL REPRESENTATION BUT RATHER EXPLOITING THE FACT THAT ASCENTS, DESCENTS, AND SYMMETRIES CAN SOUND HARMONIOUS and your brain explodes

Basically he made each midi into a visual representation. Each dot/symbol represents a note/bleepblorp/whatever. Lower notes are lower sounding, blah blah blah.
