fukkers...
The movie only outputs in 1080i unlesss you turn on the "in movie experience" director commentary....
I thought it lookd a little fuzzy compared to others I had watched recently - so low and behold hitting info on my TV remote shows me im only gettin a 1080i image from this disk and a 1080p image only whne I have the director ramblings turned on.
I guess WB will send me a new disk?
Anyway - check your movie and make sure yer gettin 1080p outta it!

I would need a 1080p tv to get 1080p out of it :/

I would need a 1080p tv to get 1080p out of it :/
Searching around I see that it is a known widespread issue.
I recommending contacting WB and getting onthe disk replacement list anyway - that why when you do have the 1080p display youwill have what you paid for on the disk.
The difference between 1080i and 1080p is noticabl when turnin the PIP director commentary on/off.
I checked all of my other blu ray disks and this T3 disk seems to be the only one with the problem.

I dont care enough about 'what I paid for' :/

are you saying that you wont take a free replacement for your disk wth defective encoding?
Am I missin something?
