i adored this show.
i contemplated buying this for my mom who also liked it, but instead i went the jewelery route.
-
I recall watching the show on Saturday afternoons. No wonder it was canned.
-
you were watching in syndication...actually, reruns on fox, syndication requires 5 seasons lol, it was a weekday show before it was cancelled
-
a bit before it's time with the syndication b-scholck series like Hercules and the like though, wasn't it?
oh, i wonder if the adventures of the golden monkey have hit DVD yet.
edit: it's tales and the answer, sadly, is "no"

Its a great show and I definitely think its better than the even shorter lived Jack of All Trades, but im a sucker for a Western setting.
"Nice work Kansas, you just killed my four best men: Pete, Scratchy...and those other two."
Its got that same kinda dumb writing army of darkness had and Bruce just does so well with it. Such a great show.

Best. show. ever.
-
Its really awesome, its definitely NOT a victim of nostalgia
-
it's in my netflix queue....somewhere
i'll get to it eventually. just like the young indiana jones stuff.
-
I loved this show, but last I checked the dvd set was prohibitively expensive.
Plus I've never actually seen it in a store.
-
Its really awesome, its definitely NOT a victim of nostalgia
really? I always feared it wouldn't age well and I was too scared to buy it cause of that.
-
It is an expensive set, but I got it for christmas so it worked out :)
-
lol this show had HANDS from Boston Legal, I never realized that.
-
yup! I didnt realize that till I saw the box art, I didnt know him as hands till recently tho
-
Is Jack Of All Trades on DVD? I was partial to The Chin as a swashbuckler myself. 8)
-
Yeah it is
-
Do you have Jack of All Trades? I forget what we each own, lol. If you don't, I can let you borrow it. I bought Jack of All Trades when I couldn't find Brisco. It is fun, but no substitute.
-
nope, dont have it,when I finish brisco we can swap n borrow
