Title: Xbla Doom

Is it any good? How are the controls? I absolutely loved doom back in the day (and even later, I got Final Doom in 2003 and played the hell out of it) was checking out the achieves last night and they look pretty good so I was thinking about grabbing it off xbla.... I just cant for the life of me imagine playing Doom without a keyboard though...

And most importantly: are people playing this regularly on xbox live so I can get the online achievements?

Also anyone know anyhitng about Final Doom xbla? I heard a rumor.... that really was my favourite version of Doom, the coolest levels and the midi music was very avant garde and advanced (the tracks for the Open Season and Human BBQ levels omg)

I have it - love it.

The controls are fine - as long as you are prepared to have it letter-boxed in the middle of your screen you cant go wrong.

Not enough people play online to get good co-op games going...

the achievements are pretty good, solely focused on singleplayer, but the two deathmatch achievements, and not a single co-op one mark against it

i'd rate Doom's achievements a solid 8

Sweet yeah I checked them out, Ive already done them all on PC anyway so they should be cake

(except not sure about the 4th episode on Ultra Violence tho, I know Ive done the 1st 3 episodes)

I just discovered Cod4 online though, HOLY SHIT

played for 3 hours last night without even realising, level ups and perks :bow really exciting stuff..... fuck Im keen to make it level 46, Desert Eagle Sidearm!

okay just Dled Doom, I forgot how awesome Doom was omg, awesome awesome game

one question: the 'rampage' achievement (complete all stages on Ultraviolence) do you have to simply finifsh all 4 episodes on that difficulty or do you have to visit all the secret stages too?

sweet done the 1st 2 episdoes on Ultraviolence, Ive done Inferno on that difficulty on PC and It wasnt too bad, the 4th episode Im worried about, I remember that being really tough
