I've read Perdido Street Station and The Scar, so Iron Council should be a fun read. I really like Gun With Occasional Music and Amnesia Moon; the rest of Lethem is rather hit-and-miss. But they were $3 each, so hey!

You know, it's going to take me a bit to catalog everything I bought, too.  We kinda went BOOK CRAZY.

I would like to come out to Prole that I used Patel to enable me to buy

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I fucking hate you. Ive wanted this game forever but can never find it at a affordable price. Hopefully I can get it(and maybe Trusty Bell) at Walmart for $20.

Don't hate me, hate the magnanimous Prole! :heartbeat

giving someone oblivion is hardly a magnanimous act!

Prole has like a half dozen copies of Oblivion.  he has purchased basically every version released, GotY, vanilla, expansions. . .he rolls around naked with them like in Indecent Proposal, rubbing the almost par RPGs all over his nipples and ass.

he also threads them onto his stileto-like cock

None of them are rich, but comfortable jobs (and with the exception of Prole) with limited responsibilities results in much disposable income!

What the fuck? Why? I can't even find the Normal copy for under $60 and he has a bunch. Oh God, the hate is overwhelming.

Well, not to add to the hate, but I believe he has even traded some versions of Oblivion in and then repurchased them later.  It is no exaggeration to say that he may have purchased Oblivion, oh, let's say 10 times.  And he doesn't buy used unless he has to.

Me?  I have purchased only 3 versions and traded in none of them.  I have, however, purchased at least 8 copies of the Diablo battle chest over the years.  This year, I declared The Purchasing of the Diablo Battle Chest a HOLIDAY TRADITION.  GOD BLESS SPENDMAS!

I got Oblivion when it launched on 360, bought it for PC some months later after I got a fancy GPU, and later bought the GotY edition on the 360 because I gave away my original copy (due to getting the PC version).

I was shocked SHOCKED that If On A Winter's Night a Traveler was not his first Calvino.  i thought everyone stumbled upon that one first.

coffee, an avocado sandwich that might've been good but for the bread, and a bus ticket to get me the hell back to Portland.

Seattle is the worst city ever.  There are NO proper coffee shops open 24 hours, and according to a very nice heroin addict I met on the street even the heroin is awful.  Avoid.  In preference I'd recommend Portland, Bellingham, Chicago, or even St. Louis.  Maybe even LA.
