Title: Used Yahoo Auctions to buy a game; Groo, Cormac, DCharlie Help Please!
Post by: bork on January 01, 2008, 08:34:52 AM
Yahoo Auctions is a little tricky for me, and my wife doesn't seem to have the best understanding of internets.  Is this guy saying that we've already paid and he's going to send the item out, or that we still haven't paid?

I don't want to be a cock, but how can you guys live in japan while being unable to read anything in the original language? I'd be stressed.

Thanks, DC!  Actually I just needed confirmation that he said he'd check the payment, not a full translation.  :)  What I'm asking is if it says we paid...I know that sounds weird, but I let my wife handle the Yahoo auction stuff and I could swear we never actually paid the cash.   :lol  I take it Yahoo does it automatically?  We do have an account set-up already...

This auction was for KOF Neowave for the original Xbox, which became virtually impossible to find once it became BC months back.

There's plenty of foreigners here that don't speak a lick and get on fine.  I'm sure there's plenty of people in your own country like that.  You don't NEED Japanese to live in Japan, as weird as that sounds.  The job I'm on, the JET program, doesn't even require it.

I speak a fair amount of Japanese, but my Kanji is god-awful.  Somehow despite being so sucktacular, I still manage to get on just fine with my wife, who barely speaks any English.   :lol  I even got a Japanese driver's license.   :o

I really should study, but I'm just so damn lazy...although living with a Japanese person has increased my vocabulary quite a bit.
