Title: What XBLA games are good?

I'm about to buy a few, like within the next 10 minutes or so. I was thinking Pac-Man: Championship Edition and Space Giraffe. Also maybe Carcassonne or Catan. What else should I take into consideration?

Definitely Pac-Man. Marble Blast Ultra rocks too.

I hear Puzzle Quest is pretty good, and value for $$

And Castlevania SotN is fantastic if you dont already have it in some other form, but hey get it again for the achievements

PacMan CE is best PacMan, but theres no unlimited mode which is gay

I prefer Carcassone over Catan

Marble Blast Ultra is good, its like 3D Marble Madness

GEO WARS is a must

Arkadian Warriors is cheap hack and slash, but gets boring, probably pass on that

Streets of Rage 2 is awesome, cause its Streets of Rage 2

Aegis Wing and Yaris are free (Totemball if you have the camera), might as well get those

Undertow, aka GOTY 2007, must buy

PUZZLE QUEST, aka awesome game of the forever, buy that

Band of Bugs is a cheap SRPG, kinda cool

Castlevania SOTN, always awesome, now with achievements

TMNT Arcade, always awesome, must buy

Assault Heroes, pretty cool, like Ikari Warriors

Puzzle Fighter HD is recommended, gotta love Puzzle Fighter

Carcassone is nothing but dominoes with a different skin.  Catan is a much better game.

Catan has a horrible tutorial, so if you don't knowhow to play, don't expect the tutorial to teach you

omega five is coming next week, and it looks completely awesome -- akujiki on gaf seems to like it a lot, and he knows his shooters

I ended up getting Pac-Man CE and and Marble Blast Ultra. I love ball rolling games, and the last few installments of Super Monkey Ball just ain't been getting done. Actually, the first one is the only one I liked. How can you mess up rolling a ball, Sega?  :duh

I also got Boom Boom Rocket because it seemed like a simple game that I could just pick up and play for a few minutes and see some stuff explode. In retrospect, it probably wasn't worth $10, but you know how it is when you're buying stuff online. Sometimes it's easy to forget you're spending real money.

I'll keep Undertow, Carcassonne, and Catan in mind for the next time I get the urge to spend.

OMG, Pac-Man CE is freaking awesome.  :hump

And I don't even like Pac-Man! I can appreciate it's place in the annuals of videogaming history, but I don't particularly enjoy playing it. But Championship Edition is the real deal.
