I just scoped out Cuban Linx today. Classic. It's a great fucking album. I also scoped Method's Tical album. These guys are pure awesome. :)

Now hoods on the right, wild for the night
Punks in the back, c'mon and attract to what
Clan in da front, let your feet stomp
Niggaz on the left, brag shit to death
Hoods on the right, wild for the night
Punks in the back, c'mon and attract to what
:bow :bow :bow :bow
The Gza is definitely the most talented lyrically. :bow But DAMN I have a new appreciation for Methodman because of this album

I dunno if I'd say Liquid Swords or Cuban Linx are better than 36 Chambers, but I will say this: the production on both album is better. Often times you don't see much development in a producer's style from project to project, but RZA really took it to another level after 36 Chambers. I love the production on that album - the dark, brooding piano loops, booming drums, menacing bass. On Cuban Linx he further perfected that style while also giving it a fresher cinematic sound. The strings sound amazing - in fact everything sounds alive.
RZA doesn't need vocal samples to make a hot song :bow
