Title: Why hasn't Nintendo made "Luigi's Mansion 2" !?

The first one was an quality title for its time.I think a sequel is due,don't you?

There should be a game starring every second tier Nintendo character.  Toad, Luigi, Tingle, that Dr. from F-Zero, Slippy, and Kid Icarus get together and embark on an epic discussion to try to agree on what toppings to get on the pizza they have to share.

Pretty sure it sold 600k+ in the US

It's better than Smash Bros. Melee!  And I like Melee.

I thought LM was quality enough for a launch game.  Showed off the system's power quite well.
