...beat r-type 1!

used to be able to single-credit it back in my arcade days lo those eons ago, but recently i'd been stumped on stage 7's initial bullet hell and environment snares. also, the stage 7 boss is kind of a fuckup -- he launches trash at you in a semi-random pattern and i always make some stupid move that gets me nailed. not today! 20-some credits later, i kicked that stage's ass, blew through stage 8 and YAY ENDING!

i was playing this on the psp aka the greatest handheld ever as part of the psone r-types compilation. I AM AWESOME I AM GOOD

such a great game, not my favorite old-school horizontal since I'm not very good at those games but still great.

so the PSP plays horizontal shooters well? Can a hacked psp play import PSOne titles?

yup, just make an iso of the game disc and put it in the psp memory
