Title: stupid photo editing question
Post by: xnikki118x on January 09, 2008, 12:40:09 PM
I have these family photos from Christmas that have been edited. Now all I need to do is resize them so I can post them on my Photobucket.

Is it really necessary to use Photoshop for the resizing, or can I use the faster Microsoft Photo Editor and get the same quality? The only thing being done is resizing.

Also, is anyone here particularly good at Photoshopping animal eyes? You know how dogs' eyes get screwed up in photos? Is anyone good at fixing that and willing to fix a few pictures for me? :D

photobucket will resize.

I know, but I always resize my photos first so they take less time to upload. I use dialup, unfortunately, and I always take pictures on my camera's best setting, so the files are huge.

I can do it for you nikki. But you still have to send the pictures to me, so I don't see what difference it would make to just upload it on photobucket  :-\

Nikki, you can just download a batch image resizer program.

What this does is take a directory, or selected images from you, and resize them all in one swoop

From there, you can upload your now small images

LOL, I worked on these photos days ago, but she wouldn't let me resize them for her in Photoshop.

Nikki, get IrfanView for your batch resizing, silly.

Also, about the animal eyes, the things have these glowy as fuck eyes that I couldn't figure out how to fix without making the animals look like they had plastic eyes :(

Really now, I did a batch photo save on all 30 of those pictures or whatever. It would've been 2 more clicks to resize them. What did you tell me, though? "No, I like to do that part myself"

Silly girl.

I wanted to do it myself because some of them are getting a little cropping as well as resizing. Weirdo.
