Title: Wiimote vs. Sixaxis video.

Wiimote on top.

Gyros can be used for the new PS3 Tony Hawk game but they're more of a gimmick and the Wii version can only be controlled with the wiimote. I posted the video so you can see how much movement it takes to do tricks.

I did not intend to make any Wii discussion. If I had to make a point with this thread, it's that the Sixaxis can't compete with the Wiimote because it can't be used as a pointer.

Stuff like Tony Hawk, Excite Truck, Sonic, etc could be done on the PS3 quite easily

Actually I couldn't tell the difference between which version was which until I saw the black controller with buttons being used on the bottom (largely has to do with how tons of jaggies don't let you see which version is which in such a low resolution video).

With Wii games you can control a gyro with one wrist and so it's more intuitive. Shooters and party games probably will not work as well on PS3 and there is definitely no game that uses the gyros well on it. You do realize it's just not as easy to move a controller as it is to move a pointer?

You really shouldn't bitch about Console Wars ever again. You slander systems and pit them against one another more than anyone I've seen here.
