okay not really. but Factor 5 is.
http://kotaku.com/344690/lair-developer-goes-to-wii
Factor 5's Lair wasn't exactly the most well received of PlayStation 3 games, despite its often-pretty graphics. It was generally blasted for inaccurate SIXAXIS control, unreliable SIXAXIS control and craptastic SIXAXIS control, among a few other things we don't remember. According to a report from IGN, the team has decided to give game development and motion control a go on another platform, bringing an unnamed game to the Wii. F5 boss man Julian Eggebrecht told the outlet that the team is hard at work on something that's not for the Virtual Console and not running on GameCube era Star Wars Rogue Squadron tech, with IGN believing that it's not a waggle-filled PilotWings sequel.

Nintendo doesn't want them
-
Who cares. Factor 5 doesn't know how to make fun games.
-
I loved RS2. Bring it on.
-
Factor 4.9 should just build graphic engines and make developer tools for other 3rd parties on the Wii, and have other, more competent designers do the gameplay portion. Their games always looked fantastic but the gameplay looked snore inducing.

that actually sounds like a great idea.

Didn't they make Mega Turrican for the Genesis? That was pretty good. I mean, it came out like 13 years ago, but still.
-
Factor 5's Nintendo games were never great but they were at least playable, unlike Lair. Calcifier's pic should have Sony and Factor 5 switched around. Lair probably did more damage to the PS3 than anything else.

:lol
xbot logic at it's best
halo 3 made bungie a laughing stock and ms got rid of them.. 360 is enough damaged on its own
-
yeah, 8 million sales sure is a laughing stock.
-
I wish I could be unbiased like calcifer.
Calcifer, tell us again about how Epic never mentioned kill.switch as inspiration for Gears.
-
yeah, 8 million sales sure is a laughing stock.
a) it's not 8m sold to people
b) how many albums have britney spears sold?
halo 3 is 360s lair except you xbots are so thick that you actually bought it
-
:spin
-
:rofl
Wrong on all counts?
calcifer, where are you from?

Calcifer is a PD joke poster, I'm calling it.

He's someone's joke account, that's for sure.

laughing at your own jokes, I see!
-
Halo 3 is the best single-player Halo ever, about 80% of the game is quality (the other 20% being the final 2 stages of course). Plus the sales for the game were astronomical, I have no idea how anybody could call it a failure of a game... though I know of at least a few people who prefer H2 in multiplayer (and I'll admit I'm more partial to some of the H2 maps).
-
laughing at your own jokes, I see!
Why would I troll my favorite console?
-
I don't know, you tell us, ma'am!
-
calcifer do you like vomit porn?
-
well, let's see, calcifer is a character from a shitty miyazaki movie
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
who could it be
-
I don't believe calcifer is anyone's joke account.
-
Hang on, the LAIR engine is supposed to be good now ???
-
No, like dcharlie said, it's just some pathetic PS3 fan still in denial about the state of suckitude over in Sonyland.
-
:lol :lol :lol
-
LAIR was fun - I guess they decided to take their waggle where the fans really wanna waggle.
-
any of it really - I like the tilt control and like playing something different for a change.
-
here we go again.
-
oh I agree - its been done before and better.
The tilt controls alone are what save it for me - its just something different to play admist a primarily analog stick controlled library of games.
I dont think its a must have or a system seller - but instead a different kind of game id rate a 7.0.
Its like a different kind of game in my library - like a DDR, Samba D Amigo or a arcade lightgun game that doesnt use conventional controls.
-
yeah dood its like a drinking fun time game.... not a major part of anyones gaming life or anything...except all the attention I get for owning it ;)
-
:lol :lol :lol
I fail to see how it could be any worse than the "real" version.
I remember everyone on GAF believing wollan over me and a load of other people when we warned people that this game ran like gash at TGS06, but NOoooooooooooooooooo.
All the Sfags sided with ONE SONY AFFILIATED PERSON (oh, and Kaching - who wasn't even there!) rather than a good 20 people because we were all "xbots"
Seriously, i fucking LOVE being right all the time.
Wollan tried to push that game? After playing it? :rofl
-
How could anyone not come back after hearing about PS3's dominant 2008 lineup?
-
omg xenos :bow :bow
ps3 will seem lastgen total :o :o

Lair was unfun and gross looking. I can't decide whether it was better or worse than Kane and Lynch. I think K&L might be slightly better, but really, it's splitting hairs.
