My bitch-ass bitch punk fuck cunt neighbors just yelled at me for doing my laundry too late. They had posted a sign in the laundry room saying "please don't do your laundry so late as it is very noisy!" So, out of courtesy to their whiny asses, I didn't do it so late. EXCEPT. My neighbors have a very different definition of "late" than I, and normal human beings, do.

My personal, very generous definition of "late" was 10 PM. 10 PM is not late, but maybe it's late for some people who are whiny and go to bed early! So, I resolved that I would do all my laundry such that no machines would be making noise after 10 PM. Look how generous I am!

Only they came out and yelled at me just now for being inconsiderate because according to THEM, "late" is

11 is late as in when I should be in bed cause I gotta get up at 6. That being said my laundry machines are next to the kitchen which is next to the living room but somehow with the door closed I CAN STILL WATCH MUTHERFUKIN TV

in our apartment building you have to stop doing noisy shit at 9 pm on weekdays, but that means loud tv/movie watching, blasting music, working with tools, etc. weekends you're good til 10 or 11, iirc.

however, you can do laundry as late as you fucking want.

tell them to shove it. what if you work all day and only get home around 7? when the fuck are you gonna do your laundry? i don't know about you but there's a fuckin' line up on the weekends for our floor's machine. i always do laundry on the weekdays, usually until 11 pm. if the lady who lives beside the laundry room can't deal with that, she can kiss my ass. shouldn't have moved into that apartment, then!

we've got our own problem with the laundry room here -- people don't know how to fucking operate a washing machine/dryer. no one empties the god damn lint trap, and last week someone broke the fucking soap intake on the washer. how the hell do you break something like that?! was the guy trying to rip it out of the washer or something?

anyway, dcharlie is right -- if they have a problem they should be taking it up with your landlord, not bitching at the other tenants because they want to get their slice of reality tv bullshit in at the end of the day.

yeah, I don't get home until 7:30. I can't even do a single load and dry it on a weekday with this. I am just gonna do all my laundry tonight. if they bitch at me again, I can tell them that I thought about it and it's not late and they can talk to our landlord.

I live in a townhouse complex filled with college-aged kids.  Any given day there are people up all night, outside and loud.  About once a week someone is setting off fireworks in the middle of the night.  I doubt there's anything I could do to make my neighbors complain.
