Title: Quick Seinfeld question
Post by: thekavorka on January 16, 2008, 04:55:44 PM
So I was watching that episode where Jerry gets a first class seat and Elaine sits in coach.

The airline accountant said that they only had one first class seat available (the one that jerry took). Later in the episode, Elaine sneaks into first class and finds an empty seat.

If there was an empty seat, how come the ticket agent didn't give that to Elaine too? Were they only allowed to give one first class seat?

Someone that had a first-class ticket probably didn't get on the plane.

but weren't they stand-by? don't the stand-by passengers go on last in case someone doesn't show up?
